Death Notice: Elaine R. Stroo

TO MEMBERS OF MFDA

We regret to inform you of the death of Elaine R. Stroo, wife of John K. Stroo, founder and former owner of the Stroo Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, and mother of Robert K. Stroo, current co-owner of Stroo Funeral Home. Mrs. Stroo died on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the age of 84.

Mrs. Stroo is also survived by her children, Christine Anderson and John A. Stroo; granddaughter, Nicole; and grandson, C.J.; sister, Marilyn Nichols; sister-in-law, Glennys (Myles) Kuperus; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at First Cutlerville Christian Reformed Church, 1425 68th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315.

Memorial contributions may be made in Elaine's name to the Legacy Christian School 67 68th St. SW, Grand Rapids MI 49548.
